Snow "Angles"
Hello there,This week we will be working on the following:
Reading: We will continue working on inferencing with a variety of in-class activities.
Writing: Film review rough drafts will be due by Thursday.
Math: Introduction to Measurement - perimeter and area.
Science: Renewable energy/reducing carbon footprints. Students will have ample time to work on their eco structures.
Social Studies: Religion in Ancient Egypt, social hierarchy, and more on mummification.
Homework:
- Students will read Natural Builders (Nelson Reader pg. 70-73) and complete After You Read on pg. 73
- Create a character through artifacts that will be brought to class on Friday. Details explained on handout.
- Math, Measurement sheet.
* Please note that students who misspelled five or more works on the cumulative spelling quiz last week will be asked to study those words and come to class this coming Friday prepared to be retested on just those words misspelled. Thanks. E. Hawkins
