Thanks to all who attended Clairlea's Family Literacy Night. I hope everyone took away some useful ideas of how to encourage their child to infer when reading books and media texts. Most of all, I hope everyone had fun coming together to celebrate reading.

Back in our classroom, families were given mystery bags containing items pertaining to specific occupations. The job was to infer who they might belong to.
