Today the Junior students at Clairlea attended a performance of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by silent storyteller Noriko Yamamoto.
Noriko warmed up the crowd with mime and taught the audience some mime techniques.
Next, she performed the story of Sadako. It was a one-woman production and she was incredible. Earlier I had read the story to the class, so her retelling of Sadako's life was understood and appreciated.
