Quick Update

We will be carrying on where we left off last week in terms of Language and Math. We've got two field trips planned for this week. Most of the permission forms for the SATEC drama excursion have come in. If you are able to join us Wednesday afternoon, please let me know ASAP. We are short a few volunteers this time around.
Please try to get to school the greener way. I am one of the EcoSchools leaders at Clairlea and I'm really encouraging everyone who lives within school district to leave the car at home and walk or bike to school. When my son was in Junior Kindergarten, we'd cycle 11 blocks to the babysitter he had at the time. I think it toughened him up. Now he's in grade 1 and we race each other home.

The summer before JK: Duncan and I would ride through the alleyways of East York taking pictures of interesting buildings. Today, he graduated to his first trigger shift gear bike. Go green!
