Getting Your Hands Dirty

Tomorrow afternoon, the Clairlea Gardening Club begins. A notice was sent home Friday. Please let me know if your child can stay after school to help us work the land at the front of the school. With dedicated students, parents, and staff, we can transform the front into a lush, green outdoor classroom where children can learn about nature and just enjoy the sights and scents.

We will be meeting Wednesdays after school from 3:40- 4:30. We welcome all students from little hands to the Grade 8 students. Families and friends are encouraged to join in.

Please send in a shovel with your family name marked on it if possible.

We will also be looking for donations of tough, sun-loving perennials.
