I forgot to include this week's homework in my post yesterday. Since we started a new strand in Math this week, I did not assign any Math homework.
Due Friday, Dec. 11th:
1. Home Reading Journal - Students will read "Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt" and create a character portrait of Clara (After You Read pg. 45).
2. Language Challenge assignment. Students received a handout for their group. I was pleased with the work I saw in the Language Challenge groups last week. This work will be filed in their writing portfolio at school so that it does not get lost in their Language Challenge take-home folders.
Due Friday, Dec. 18th:
Eco Home Planning Sheet. This was copied onto a piece of lined paper in class.
