Hello there,
As this will be a short week, we will spend most of it continuing what we were working on last week in Language , Social Studies, and Science. Please refer back to last week's blog post. In Math, we will begin learning about place value, adding, and subtracting numbers.
I will be sending home information about your child's reading level and some tips to boost reading skills at home. I will also be sending home some samples of your child's work in Patterning, including a quiz or two. Please sign the bottom of your child's homework sheet and send it back in as soon as possible. Not all work is assessed through testing, but occasionally I will test children in the areas of Math, Science, and Social Studies in addition to ongoing class work, projects, etc.
